OPEN PADDLING
these are a lot of fun
plan on joining us every Wednesday
We meet at the Greevy Boat Launch in Loyalsock Township.
The plan is to meet at 5:30pm to start paddling by 6pm.
We generally go up river to the islands below the dam and play on the
moving water that we find {don`t go any where close to the dam!!!!!} then we
paddle back. We are out there about 2 1/2 hours. Everyone is invited, we have
been averaging abut 10 people each night. Beginners are welcome and rentals are
available, call ahead so I know to bring boats for you, this is not intended as
a lesson or clinic but we can get you off to a good start.
This is intended for paddlers to do what we do, paddle how ever makes you happy

At Country Ski and Sports, we take our boating seriously, but we have a
fun time doing it. We have all the equipment that you may need for
a day on the water.
 Whether you want to go to go out and relax on the
calm water with friends and family, go for a workout, compete in a race
or rush through the rapids, we have what you need! We have the
boats and paddles that you are looking for. We carry kayaks from
Prijon, Necky, Liquid Logic Hurricane and Old Town. Kayaking
paddles
from Werner, Prijon, Aquabound, Bending Branches and Carlisle. For
Canoes, we carry We-no-nah and Old Town. Canoe paddles from
Bending Branches and Carlisle. We can also help you select the right
carrier for your vehicle to get your boat to and from the water.

Safety is also very important when you are on
the water. You will need to have a PFD (Personal
Floatation Device) as required by state law. No matter
what you may need while you are on the water, a helmet,
nose plugs, booties, warm or cool |

clothing (depending
on what time of the year you are going), skirt, water shoes, hat,
sunglasses, waterproof bags, sun-block, we have it. |
|
