Country Ski & Sports Wellsboro is in the heart of mountain bike country. Bicycle sales, service, repair and all the accessories. Kayak and Canoe sales, service and accessories. Ski and Snowboard sales and service, gear and accessories.
Tioga County is home to Pine Creek Gorge, commonly referred to as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, begins south of Ansonia along Route 6 and continues for approximately 47 miles providing 60+ miles of riding for all levels and ages of riders. With seven lakes scattered throughout the county the area abounds with outdoor activities including Canoeing, Rafting, Hiking, Biking, and Cross-country skiing.Cross Country Skiing – Currently there are 29 miles of maintained cross-country ski trails including Bee Tree and Sand Run.
Ole Bull Midnight Madness 12 hour race and the Classic Mountain Bike Challenge keep riders and spectators coming back to this area year after year. Tioga Country trails vary in difficulty.
Enjoy boating along scenic wildlife areas like Tioga-Hammond, Nessmuk and Hamilton Lakes or Hills Creek State Park.
